We are thrilled to share that the official launch of Tangle mainnet is just one week away. The upcoming launch marks a significant milestone for Tangle as we transition from our successful testnet phase to mainnet revolutionizing the future of decentralized blockchain infrastructure with Multi-Party-Computation.
With the launch of the Tangle Mainnet, the functionality aligns with what has been accessible on the testnet. The Tangle testnet has been a great success, processing over 900,000 blocks and demonstrating the robustness and reliability of our Substrate-based platform. We've seen a tremendous response with the testnet reaching a peak of 800 validators, highlighting the strength of our growing community.
The mainnet launch of Tangle marks an important milestone in enabling Validators on the Tangle Network. Soon after launch, Tangle will integrate the first validated services – Threshold-Signatures-as-a-Service (TSSaaS). With TSSaaS, developers can build various applications leveraging digital signatures with configurable trust parameters.
TSSaaS and future services operate interdependently with Validators. Validators perform computational tasks for developers, in addition to traditional proof-of-stake validation, contributing to the security and integrity of the network. Tangle Services enable innovative use cases to developers within the community and wider crypto ecosystem, leveraging the power of Tangle's MPC infrastructure.
